  • Evaluated the Efficacy of Digital Support Specialists at Seven Telkom Connect Schools in Qqeberha, Eastern Cape and Tshwane West, Gauteng on Behalf of SchoolNet South Africa. (2022)

  • Managed the evaluation of Play to Learn South Africa’s media and community outreach activities in partnership with the Educational Development Center (EDC) and with funding from Sesame Workshop. (2021)

  • Managed the evaluation of the Baobab platform developed by Arizona State University (ASU) on behalf of the Mastercard Foundation. (2021)

  • Managed the production of a publication that captures the stories/narratives of South African Lindau Alumni experiences at the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting (LNLM) and how participation has benefitted their research and academic careers on behalf of the Association of Science in South Africa (ASSAf). (2020)

  • Managed a three-year impact evaluation study of the Project Sankore initiative of the Ministry of Education (an initiative to roll out computers into 1,200 schools in Senegal, resulting in a published paper for 3ie (International Initiative for Impact Evaluation): https://www.3ieimpact.org/sites/default/files/2019-01/GFR-PW2.14-NEPAD-Senegal-e-school.pdf (2014 - 2017).

  • Managed the evaluation of the International Information Tool on Recognised Higher Education Institutions for the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) (2008)

  • Managed the evaluation of Microsoft Partners in Learning programme in West, East and Central Africa (2006).

  • Managed and coordinated the evaluation of the Microsoft Partners in Learning programme, being run in South Africa by SchoolNet South Africa (2008).

  • Coordinated Usability Testing on Thutong, the South African National Education Portal (2005 - 2007).

  • Researched the Evaluation of Intel Teaching Thinking Tools Pilot Training, being run by Schoolnet South Africa (2005 - 2006).

  • Conducted an International Scan of the Use of ICT in Education for the Commonwealth of Learning (2005).

  • Interim Project Lead for  Knysna Initiative Learning and Teaching  (KILT's) Vocational Focus Project. (2023)

  • Worked with Youth Dynamix (YDx) to develop a Youth Customer Value Proposition on behalf of a  South African Bank. The primary aim of the CVP  is to upskill young people - helping them to secure job opportunities and develop successful and sustainable career pathways. (2022)

  • Provided professional development training to the SchoolNet South Africa team - supporting them in re-design/developing current face-to-face courses into online materials/courses to be hosted on SchoolNet Learn. (2022)

  • Developed a Webinar on behalf of NPOwer outlining the issues NGOs, NPO and Charities should consider when seeking funding support. (2022)

  • Implemented a business model based on open licensing at the Molteno Institute for Language and Literacy. (2015 - 2019)

  • Developed marketing brochures as part of The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) Advocacy Strategy. (2012-2016)

  • Coordinated the Open Education Resources (OER) Africa Convening held in Nairobi, Kenya. (2011)

  • Project Management of the Partnership in Higher Education in Africa (PHEA) Educational Technology Initiative (ETI) involving the organisation of capacity-building workshops/events/meetings at seven African Higher Education Institutions (Makerere University, Kenyatta University, University of Dar es Salaam, University of Jos, University of Ibadan, University of Education, Winneba, Catholic University of Mozambique). Supporting institutions implement ICT projects to improve the quality of education implemented. (2008-2012)

  • Coordinated the Annual Inter-institutional Workshop for the Partnership in Higher Education in Africa (PHEA) Educational Technology Initiative (ETI), held in Johannesburg (2010-2012)

  • Coordinated the Inter-institutional Health OER Network Workshop, held in Cape Town. (2009)

  • Managed Microsoft/ABSA 'PowerUp' Campaign, which involved providing affordable laptops to higher education students. (2008)

  • Coordinated annual symposiums on online safety for Microsoft South Africa. (2005 - 2007)

  • Worked with Youth Dynamix (YDx) to develop an Educational Booklet and Facilitator Guide "# NO TO UNDER 18" for Aware.org (The Association for Alcohol Responsibility and Education – https://aware.org.za/), a non-profit harm reduction body that works to push for the responsible consumption and use of alcohol.   • Managed the adoption of OER to produce open and self-facilitated text-based materials for the National Certificate (Vocational) programmes in Mathematics and Physical Science at Levels 2 – 4) for the South African Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). (2019 - 2021)

  • Managed the development of curriculum content and open learning materials for the Occupational Certificate: Electrician Programme (OCEP) for the South African Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). (2017 - 2021)

  • Managed the creation of diagnostic tests and accompanying MOOCs for FET Colleges in South Africa in collaboration with IMC in Germany. (2014 - 2017)

  • Managed the creation of occupational learning programmes (utilising a blended learning approach) for the National Institute for the Deaf (NID) College in Worcester. (2013 - 2017)

  • Developed ICT training materials for teachers for the Guyana Ministry of Education. (2011 - 2012)

  • Managed the AgShare Pilot and Planning Project to catalyse four African higher education institutions to develop Agricultural Open Educational Resources (OER). (2010-2012)

  • Collated content for inclusion on The National Education Portal (Thutong) for the South African National Department of Education - www.thutong.org.za. (2004 - 2006)

  • Managed the Production of 12 videos for teachers on the use of ICT in classrooms, developed for Microsoft on behalf on the Mindset Network. (2004)

  • Developed the Child Online Safety component of The National Education Portal (Thutong) for the South African National Department of Education. (2003 - 2008)
